On the evening of April 26th, 2025, follow the yellow brick road to “One Short Night in the Emerald City” at the SSC Brockey Center for our Annual Auction & Gala! This enchanted evening will be a celebration of Lafayette Elementary families and community members coming together to support the Lafayette PTA. It promises to be a wizardly event featuring an amazing dinner, drinks, silent + live auctions, and a post-event party with live music and karaoke by Rock Bot!

This event is where celebration meets purpose—a testament to our commitment to education and the bright future ahead for Lafayette. As a PTA, our mission is to support the school’s academic success, enrich the student experience, and build a strong community. We rely on the support of the entire community—parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty and staff, friends, and local businesses—to raise funds that provide an exceptional experience for our children while helping them develop into individuals who show respect, make good decisions, and solve problems. Together, we can create a brighter future—one emerald step at a time!

Tickets are flying off the shelves faster than a tornado in Kansas, so be sure to grab yours before they vanish! There's a limited number available—don't miss your chance to be part of this magical night in the Emerald City!

Our procurement team is looking for donations that will make the evening shine brighter than the Wizard's emerald glasses! If you have tickets to sporting events, gift certificates, vacation getaways, or unique experiences you’d like to contribute, we'd love your support. Other enchanted ideas include:

• Sports Tickets or Memorabilia: Help our guests feel like they're on top of the world—you don’t need a yellow brick road to make their dreams come true!

• Unique Gifts & Experiences: Gift cards for local shops, restaurants, or experiences—make someone’s heart soar like the Tin Man after finding a little oil.

• Exclusive Art & Home Décor: Oz-inspired artwork, vintage memorabilia, or beautiful pieces that would make even Glinda envious!
